Top 7 Ways Kratom Boosts Productivity
What’s my background for writing this list of the top 7 ways kratom helps you be more productive?
I’ve used kratom daily for the past three years.
Unlike millions of people who struggle with chronic pain, what drew me to kratom was hearing from people who praised it for turbocharging their productivity.
Are you also looking for ways to boost your productivity?
What would your life look like in six months if you were able to cross off two or three more difficult tasks every single day from your to-do list?
That’s what I set out to find out years ago when I first heard about kratom.
After researching it for several months, I took the plunge and have never looked back.
Kratom is a tool that I’ve used to earn a promotion at work that nearly doubled my salary, kickstart my graduate degree program, and start earning money online.
Here are the top 7 ways that kratom has boosted my productivity – and will make you more productive as well.
What is kratom?
First, if you’re not familiar with kratom, it comes from the leaf of a tree that grows in Southeast Asia.
Its botanical name is Mitragyna speciosa.
The tree is in the same family as the coffee tree, and indeed shares many of the same properties as coffee — with a few interesting twists.
It’s primarily native to Malaysia and Thailand where it has a long history of hundreds or possibly thousands of years of use by people.
Kratom contains a variety of compounds which act as stimulants in low doses and have sedative effects in high doses.
There is scientific debate as to which specific compounds in kratom affect our brain’s chemistry.
The consensus appears to be that kratom acts on the mu-opioid receptors so as to MIMIC the effects of opiates derived from opium (codeine, morphine, hydrocodone, oxycodone) BUT IS NOT AN OPIATE ITSELF.
The most common form of kratom used in the United States is in powdered form.
The leaves of the tree are ground into a very fine powder with the consistency of powdered sugar.
You may also come across liquid kratom in the form of extracts, which I would avoid as I’ll point out later on.
There are three principal strains of kratom, each with different primary effects.
Red vein kratom generally is more relaxing, white vein is more energizing, and green vein kratom provides a good balance of the two.
The vein color refers to the part of the leaf that provides its structure and provides it with water and nutrients.
What’s The Bad News About Kratom?
There’s a fair bit of controversy about kratom at the moment.
First of all, it hasn’t been approved by the Food and Drug Administration for human consumption, so it can’t be promoted as a “dietary supplement” even though many people in fact use it this way.
Kratom’s Legal Status
In addition, several states have outright banned it, with state laws making it illegal to buy, sell, or possess it.
Kratom is outlawed in Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Rhode Island, Vermont, Wisconsin, Washington D.C., the city of San Diego in California and the county of Sarasota in Florida.
If you live in any of these places, I’m sorry.
It’s unfair that you’re denied the right to make your own decision about whether or not to use a plant that can provide you with so many benefits.
Why is it illegal? That would take several articles to explain but here’s a brief summary.
Big Pharma Hates Kratom
Since kratom is a plant, it can’t be patented by pharmaceutical companies.
Millions of people have claimed that kratom has helped them get over opiod addictions and anxiety medication.
That cuts into pharmaceutical companies’ profits.
These large companies spend a lot of money to hire lobbyists to paint kratom in a negative way.
Kratom Has a Learning Curve
Learning to use kratom takes a bit of practice.
The amount of kratom needed to get a favorable response varies from person to person.
The best approach is to begin with smaller amounts and then work your way up.
Use too much and the effects including nausea, sleepiness, grogginess and difficulty concentrating, and a possible increase in feelings of anxiety for several hours afterward.
Finding your “sweet spot” of the amount of kratom to use takes a little bit of trial and error.
Also, it’s a good idea to rotate the strains of kratom that you use to avoid building up a tolerance over time.
Some people make it into a tea, others mix it with orange juice. I prefer the “toss and wash” method where you toss it back with a small sip of water and then gulp down a cup of water to wash it all down.
Benefits of Kratom for Productivity
In light of all this, what makes kratom so effective?
The benefits are almost too numerous to count, but here a list of the top 7 ways kratom helps you be more productive.
One of the biggest benefits of kratom for improving productivity is that it gives you a boost in energy.
It has this in common with its cousin the coffee bean.
No Crash Afterward
The difference is that, unlike coffee, it doesn’t provide an immediate rush followed by a caffeine crash.
It’s more of a steady increase in energy that kicks in about twenty minutes after using it and will last for several hours before gently tapering off.
It also improves your MOTIVATION to get things done, probably due to how it acts on the brain’s mu-opioid receptors.
This is great when you have annoying tasks that you have to get done. You may actually find yourself EAGER to get them done.
Another often-overlooked benefit of kratom is that it helps you feel better about annoyances in your life.
You’ll find yourself less annoyed by people around you who may normally get on your nerves.
This is great at your workplace workplace where you may have to interact with lots of coworkers and clients on a regular basis.
Improves Social Skills
Somewhat related to better attitude, kratom lends itself toward improving social dynamics.
It’s easier to feel relaxed and at ease in social situations.
You may also find yourself wanting to chat and socialize with others when you’re using kratom.
Better Outlook on Anxiety
If you’re prone to feelings of anxiety, using kratom can help you have a better outlook in high-stress situations.
Kratom can help you have a calmer, less tense response to people or situations that normally raise your tension levels.
You’ll also find that kratom helps promote a general positive outlook on life.
It contributes to an increased sense of well-being, and you may find yourself smiling more when using it.
Where to Find Kratom
All of these benefits depend on having a good source of kratom.
You can find dozens of vendors online – some good and some terrible.
In some parts of the country you can find it in gas stations.
Many smoke shops carry it, too.
Their prices are fair, you’ll get premium-grade kratom and shipping is fast.
The fact that they offer a 100% no questions asked money-back guarantee is what first caught my attention, and after using their kratom I can see why they’re so confident in their quality.
It’s just plain good.
If you come across kratom in liquid forms, I would suggest avoiding it.
Liquid kratom extracts are made by condensing kratom down into super-concentrated form.
The risk with this is that your tolerance to kratom will quickly skyrocket and you’ll quickly lose the beneficial effects.
It’s also a good idea to avoid “enhanced” versions of kratom, for that same reason.
If you buy kratom powders from gas stations or smoke shops, it’s a roll of the dice.
Who knows how long it’s been sitting on the shelves or where it came from?
I prefer knowing that my source of kratom is getting fresh shipments every couple of weeks straight from the kratom farms in Southeast Asia and that the powder is fresh and effective.
Kratom has been used by hundreds or possibly thousands of years by people in Southeast Asia to increase energy, motivation, and feel generally good about life.
Recently it’s been victimized by pharmaceutical companies that see kratom as a threat to their profit margins.
Once you learn how to use it, Kratom will boost your productivity, increase your motivation and ability to work well with others, and promote a strong sense of well-being.
There are a number of places you can buy it, but it’s best to get it from a reliable source that guarantees their product.
Kratom is one of the best-kept secrets for productivity, and now you’re in on the secret, too.
When you’re trying out a new kratom vendor it’s a good idea to get a sample pack if they offer it.
You’ll be able to try different strains and get a good sense of the quality of their product.
Coastline Kratom’s Beginner’s Pack is perfect for this. It’s what I recommend to anyone interested in trying kratom for themselves.Click To Order Kratom
